Dreaming of sun-kissed beaches, vibrant nightlife, and a dose of Art Deco charm? Look no further than Miami Beach – your perfect weekend escape, just a quick 3-hour hop from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)! I’m sharing my exact itinerary so you can save it for your next trip.
Choosing the right place to stay totally sets the vibe for any vacation, and The Goodtime Hotel proved to be an absolute gem. Tucked away perfectly, just a comfortable stroll from the energetic pulse of South Beach, it gives you that ideal balance of peace and easy access. From the moment you step inside, you’re wrapped up in a playful yet sophisticated Art Deco wonderland. The vibrant design and thoughtful touches create an instantly cheerful atmosphere.
Beyond its stunning looks, the hotel’s got some incredible amenities. Imagine starting your day with a refreshing dip in their chic rooftop pool, a serene escape with views that hint at all the fun waiting below. But the real showstopper? Strawberry Moon, the hotel’s very own modern, pink-themed swim club and bar. It’s more than just a pool deck; it’s a social hub, a vibrant oasis where you can lounge by the water, sip on handcrafted cocktails, and grab delicious bites – all without even leaving the hotel. It seriously feels like a resort within a resort, making downtime just as exciting as exploring the city.

On my first night, I checked out the rooftop at Esme Hotel for pre-sunset cocktails and gorgeous views. Then, I headed to Tropezon for dinner, a hidden-gem with incredible drinks and delicious, Spanish-inspired bites.
In the morning, I highly recommend getting breakfast at Cafe Bastille. They’re known for their elevated brunch classics. I really enjoyed their coffee and eggs benedict.

During the day, I checked out the new open-air exhibit, 100 Years of Art Deco on Ocean Drive. It’s a wonderful way to appreciate the city’s rich heritage and vibrant design in the glorious Florida sunshine.
At night, I headed to Rooftop Cinema Club. This open-air movie experience is incredibly charming and offers a fresh spin on a typical night out. It’s relaxed, romantic, and perfectly captures Miami’s laid-back yet sophisticated entertainment options.

Another great dinner option is Macchialina, it’s one of Miami’s best Italian spots.
No matter what your vibe is, there are fun activities for everyone in Miami Beach!
