NJ/NYC Holiday Pop Ups

Looking for holiday pop ups or cute restaurants/bars for the holidays in NYC or NJ? I compiled a list of some of the best in the area! Keep in mind, these are going to be really busy, so try to go really early or on weekdays. Most of these need reservations to visit.

Oscar Wilde – NYC

Inspired by Oscar Wilde the famous playwrights in London, this victorian style bar offers unique decor and classic drinks. They go ALL out for their holiday decorations, as they do with their decor every season. Oscar Wilde offers a full menu featuring pan-seared salmon, buttermilk chicken, beet and pear salad, and more.

The Greens-NYC

89 South St,

New York NY 10038

Cozy up in your own winter cabin while enjoying the 360 views all around you on the pier. Each cabin is heated and can be rented for $20 at lunch or $50 for dinner. The Greens also has a rooftop speakeasy which features a sleek look with fireplaces and mixologists ready to go!

Ophelia -NYC

Ophelia’s offers stunning decor, a live Dj and a 360 greenhouse terrace. An iconic art deco tower features this unique snow globe in the sky, making it such a photo worthy spot. Menu items include artichoke dip, onion sliders and of course an extensive cocktail list.

Bryant Park Winter Village – NYC

42nd Street and 6th Ave,

Bryant Park’s Winter Village is a winter wonderland. It’s a market with holiday themed shops and restaurants. There is some of the best hot chocolate ever there at “No Chewing Allowed”. There’s also an ice skating rink and tons of holiday theme decor.

Shop at a range of stores from health, beauty, shoes, jewelry and more. During the holidays, they go all out for the holidays with tons of lights, christmas trees and wreaths.  It’s the perfect place to stop by and walk around to enjoy the holiday decor.

Rolfs -NYC

281 3rd Ave

New York, NY 10010

Rolfs is a German restaurant which makes Alsatian and Bavarian Cuisine.  The decor is absolutely stunning and is worth a visit just to see all the lights – it’s a true Christmas wonderland.  It’s important to note, that it is really expensive and locals see it as a tourist spot. However, I think it’s worth visiting at least once!

Peninsula Rooftop – NYC

700 5th Ave

New York, NY 10019

At the top of the Peninsula hotel is this great rooftop called the Chalet De Ning. Chalet De Ning transports you to the snow-capped mountains of the swiss alps. Two domes are located on the rooftop to provide warmth and a cozy yet stylish feel. Enjoy specialty cocktails and seasonal dishes all inspired by Switzerland!

Miracle on Centre -NJ

The Miracle is a Christmas-themed pop-up cocktail bar that serves holiday cocktails in a festive setting. This pop-up is designed to be the BEST Christmas party you have been to. The over the top decoration and specialty drinks makes this an amazing experience!
